Despite originally releasing in 2015, Bleach: Brave Souls is now available on all modern platforms in one way or another. Whether you want to check out the game on mobile or with actual controller support, there are plenty of options for everyone. But if you have the luxury of choice, here is what we think about the best platform for Bleach: Brave Souls.
Best Platform for Mobile Fans: Nintendo Switch
This free-to-play gacha game adaptation of the beloved Bleach manga and anime series started out on mobile. While you certainly can play on Android or iOS, our personal mobile preference is Nintendo Switch. This version came out in July 2024 and excels because it has the best of both worlds.
You can play on the go anywhere you want in handheld mode, but it also has TV mode like its fellow consoles. In addition, you can use controllers to hack-and-slash your way through each mission but you have touchscreen support like the mobile versions. This version is by far the most flexible so we recommend if you have this option.
Best Platform for Graphics and Performance: PC
If you have the luxury of picking your platform and just want the best-looking version of this game, I suggest going with the PC version of Bleach: Brave Souls. It first released in August 2020 so it has been around for a while. Though this game doesn’t have intense graphics, it can look the best on the PC.
In addition, it can play much better than Android or iOS, especially if you have an older smartphone. Plus, the PC version of this free-to-play title is far more in-depth when it comes to settings so you can tweak the options to work better for you. Plus, it has the both options of controller and mouse and keyboard support so you can play however you prefer.
Bleach: Brave Souls is available for free for Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
