The acquiring of the Air-Wheeler is remarkably simple, all things considered. It can be done before Dawntrail‘s main story is completed, even.
Once players progress through the Main Story Quests of Dawntrail, they will find themselves in Solution Nine, the game’s second player hub cities. It hosts a bevy of shops and exchanges, including a very specific one.
At the center of the new zone is the Nexus Arcade, a sort of one-stop exchange shop for players. Along with it is the Air-wheeler Dealer shop. Here, players can acquire an Air-Wheeler A9 model of their own, for the price of 7.5 million gil.
How to Quickly Make Gil in FFXIV Dawntrail
This will be the trickiest part, by far, but for some players it will barely be a challenge at all. The first, and least expedient, way is to simply play the game as normal, doing roulettes and your weekly challenge logs. They grant bonuses of gil that, over time will eventually amount to the total you need. This will take the longest, however.
Slightly faster ways for those who do not yet have their crafter and gatherer classes maxed out are to send your retainers on ventures. They will return with plenty of gil and occasionally with rare items that can be sold at a high price on the market board.
One can also participate in the field event FATEs across the new zones and, using the bicolor gemstones, acquire rare and desirable materials and minions players are willing to pay high prices for.
In addition, the treasure maps and the random dungeons within are another way. Both for the immense amounts of gil players can earn from the challenges the maps lead to and for the selling price of some of the rarer materials that the treasure map dungeons can provide.
A more expedient way, for those with their crafters and gatherers leveled, is to sell in demand items on the market board. High quality food and potions, for example, always sell for decent prices around the launches of new raid tiers so, with the Arcadion raid series arriving, they will be in hot demand. Set your prices wisely and the amount will be yours.
